We Our exciting day starts between 7:20 and 7:50 am. m. will pick you up from your accommodation and take our private transport to our first destination of the day. On our way to Pisac, we will make our first stop of the day, about thirty minutes from Cusco. we will be visiting the Qorao Market, to walk around and see the locals selling their crafts,handmade souvenirs and some impressive works of art that you can buy as reminder of your trip or for some gifts for your family and friends at home. Here, you will also have the opportunity to take some photos of the amazing natural beauty of the place and the local fauna, such as llamas.
Then, we will continue towards “El Mirador Del Valle Sacred.” This viewpoint over the valley will provide you with the perfect opportunity to photograph the Andes mountain range and the Sacred Valley together.We will soon arrive in Pisac to visit its colorful market and archeological site. The Pisac complex is known by its terraces that rise to the slopes of the mountain to top in a harmonious way. Also see the largest Inca cemetery and the Inhuatana de Pisac, who is famous for predicting the solstices and equinoxes.They were very important for agriculture in the time of the Incas.
Once our visit to the place is finished, we will drive for another hour to Urubamba and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch of traditional peruvian dishes. There will be a wide range of options available and it is the perfect opportunity to test many foods In the afternoon, we will visit the town of Ollantaytambo to tour its unique and extensive archaeological site, home to water fountains, high terraces, temples and plus. This town is well conserved with the typical outline of a City built by the Incas with its narrow cobbled streets and stone walls. It is the only original Inca town where the culture lives on to this day. Its conservation allows to admire the enduring legacy of the Inca people and so understand the ancient culture of the Inca. On our way back to Cusco, we will make one last stop at the town of chinchero Here you will have the opportunity to visit a beautiful colonial temple, best known for its wall painting above the entrance (this temple was built on Inca foundations). We will also get to see the Inca walls in the main square. The highlight in this city is watching the local women making textiles. They will teach you the process and the techniques of making textiles and you will also have the opportunity to support them by buying their handmade pieces if you wish. Finally, we will continueto Cusco and we will leave you at your accommodation early at night.
It is very important to be well acclimatized to the altitude before pushing yourself on a hike.
