yes, this is very important. We recommend bringing between 300 to 400 Peruvian soles just in case, since you may need it for an emergency such as renting horses or some extra activities.
Our guides are trained in case you have altitude sickness. Unfortunately, it is illegal to give you any type of medication but our guides will do their best to make you feel better. Depending on what level of altitude sickness you have, the guide will test you for oxygen and if you still do not feel well, you have the option of returning to Cusco.
During the walks, Ausangate Explore offers you typical Peruvian food with locally grown products. The meal plan is well put together, taking into account how your body digests food at different heights.
